High Falls Gorge is open all year round with snowshoe treks in the winter months followed by complimentary marshmallows and hot chocolate. And in the summer months you can take the ½ mile round trip walk and watch the famous Ausable River as it explodes into deep crevices in its 700 foot journey through ancient granite cliffs formed over a billion years ago by the forces of ice, water and wind. High Falls Gorge is also HANDICAP accessible.
