For more than two decades, Olympic Champion and figure skating icon Scott Hamilton has thrilled audiences of all ages with the Emmy Award winning Smucker's Stars on Ice. Now in its 22nd year, the upcoming season might be the best yet.
True to tradition, an advance preview performance is held at the Olympic Center in Lake Placid, New York, on Thanksgiving Weekend. "The greatest skaters in the world are coming together to show America why they are the best," says Hamilton. Co-Creator Jef Billings adds, "Fans will experience the energy, the spontaneity, and audience interaction that come only from being part of a LIVE show. There will be no retakes and no edits. What happens on the ice is for their eyes only -- and you won't see it all unless you are there!"
Enhanced by a broad spectrum of popular music, intricate lighting, dynamic costumes, cutting-edge choreography and state-of-the-art technology, audiences will be front and center as champion skaters interact and perform as only they can.
