If you think Whiteface is great in the winter, you should give it a shot in summer. Mountain biking in Lake Placid offers variety for everyone, from the hard core rider to the gentle cruiser. With 27 trails to chose from & the highest vertical drop in the East, if the view doesn't take your breath away the view will!
Lake Placid Mountain biking Packages for the summer of 2009:
Sunday through Thursday $99 per person
includes one overnight stay for two people at the Golden Arrow in downtown Lake Placid, two one-day all access passes to mountain bike Whiteface Mountain & a drink to take the edge off after your ride.
Package ends September 7th, 2009.
Friday & Saturday: $199 per person
includes two nights accommodations at the Golden Arrow in the heart of the Adirondacks, a one-day all access mountain biking pass to Whiteface Mountain for each person & a drink to give you courage the night before you ride (or a congratulatory drink the night after you ride. Up to you)!
Package ends October 18th, 2009

Restrictions: passes to Whiteface do not include any biking equipment. You are welcome to bring your own gear or rent directly from Downhill Mike at Whiteface. Rates based on double occupancy. Blackout dates include but are not limited to 7/3-7/4, 7/22-7/26, 7/31-8/8. Lakefront lodging not guaranteed. Does not include tax. Must be 21 to receive drink coupon. midweek stays: drink includes one beer or wine per person at the TBar or Roomers Nightclub. Weekend stay: includes ONE day pass per person to Whiteface. If you would like to bike both days, an additional pass can be purchased for only $30 per person. Also includes ONE drink coupon per person. |
