Fly Fishing Experience Add On
Available with the Spring Thaw through Fall |
One of the nicest things about visiting the Lake Placid region is the wide variety of fishing opportunities the area has to offer. From world famous trout streams to wilderness pond fishing, if you are new to the sport of have been fishing your entire life, there is something for everyone. That is why we have partnered with Jones Outfitters, the best Fly shop in the area to create an unforgettable Fly Fishing experience.
Cost: $299 per couple or $199 for a single
Package includes 1/2 a day guided fly fishing trip tailored to your skill level, all equipment required for the trip (except flies), a yummy boxed lunch to take with you & a welcome bag at check-in.
When you book this Add On Package we will put you in touch with the skilled guides at Jones Outfitters so they can help you choose the best date, time & location for your guided trip based on weather, your skill level & experience. IronMan/Marathon Training Rate

We would like to offer a 20% discount to anyone coming to Lake Placid to train for either the Lake Placid IronMan Triathlon 2008 or the Lake Placid Marathon (come on you slackers...no IronMan for you?) You are training really hard & we think you deserve a break!
We are located only moments from the IronMan transition area & the swim start. You can actually walk right out of your room, onto the beach & into Mirror Lake to train on the swim course! If you like we will also give you a place to wash down & dry off your bike after long rides.
The Marathon Start is also just a 2 minute walk from here. The race course actually goes right by the Resort so your supporters can just grab their coffee & watch you go by right from the Lobby!
Don't forget we also have two hot tubs, a steam room & a sauna to relax your weary body.
