We look forward to welcoming you back to our mountain village when the time is right is for you to travel comfortably and to enjoy the offerings in Lake Placid. Although some businesses are open, we encourage all travelers to carefully research their options, be aware of what is open and what is not, and above all, to continue to practice safety measures.
The safety of our travelers and residents is our highest priority and we are committed to ensuring that every experience in the Adirondacks is the best it can be. We want you to have the resources and most up-to-date information so that you can make informed travel decisions.
As we adapt to a new normal, we want to ensure our guests still enjoy their time in Lake Placid and at the Golden Arrow.
We are following CDC guidelines and as it has always been, the safety and security of our guests and team members remains our highest priority.
You will see more housekeeping staff in our common areas as we increase our already high cleaning standards.
Guests will be required to answer a COVID Health Form 24 hours before arriving. The health form will be emailed to you 5 days before your arrival date. Guests will be asked to wear a special bracelet for the duration of their stay that let’s everyone know they are a Golden Arrow guest and have completed the health form. We ask that you please answer the questions honestly and adhere to our policies to keep our staff and other guests safe.
Check in time is any time after 4:00PM and Check Out is at 11:00AM. Please note we will not be offering early check ins going forward. We have allocated more time for the housekeeping staff to make sure your guest room is properly cleaned and sanitized. As always, guests arriving earlier or departing later are welcome to use all of the hotel amenities and parking lots.
All our staff will follow social distancing guidelines and will be wearing masks. We ask that all guests follow the same standards.
Forget your mask? Check out Imagination Station next door to the Alpine Mall for a wide selection of masks for the whole family!
As always, our front desk staff will be available to answer questions and give suggestions on what to do while visiting Lake Placid.
You can also check out our recommendations below. (Please keep in mind that local business & restaurants may be operating in different standards now. We always suggest visiting their websites and social media pages for the most up-to-date information.)
