Changes in Guest Experience

We look forward to welcoming you back to our mountain village when the time is right is for you to travel comfortably and to enjoy the offerings in Lake Placid. Although some businesses are open, we encourage all travelers to carefully research their options, be aware of what is open and what is not, and above all, to continue to practice safety measures.

The safety of our travelers and residents is our highest priority and we are committed to ensuring that every experience in the Adirondacks is the best it can be. We want you to have the resources and most up-to-date information so that you can make informed travel decisions.

As we adapt to a new normal, we want to ensure our guests still enjoy their time in Lake Placid and at the Golden Arrow.

We are following CDC guidelines and as it has always been, the safety and security of our guests and team members remains our highest priority.

You will see more housekeeping staff in our common areas as we increase our already high cleaning standards.

Guests will be required to answer a COVID Health Form 24 hours before arriving. The health form will be emailed to you 5 days before your arrival date. We ask that you please answer the questions honestly and adhere to our policies to keep our staff and other guests safe. We also require guests to wear a mask in common areas.

Out of State Travelers: We ask that you please follow the NYS travel advisory. Read more: Travel Guidance & Restricted States.

Check in time is any time after 4:00PM and Check Out is at 11:00AM. Please note we will not be offering early check ins going forward. We have allocated more time for the housekeeping staff to make sure your guest room is properly cleaned and sanitized. As always, guests arriving earlier or departing later are welcome to use all of the hotel amenities and parking lots.
