What Our Guests Say

Comfortable Room/Great View
Stayed at Golden Arrow on March 30-April 1, the room was clean, comfortable, and the view of the lake was excellent. Though it was cold and the lake was still frozen, my wife and I had a great time relaxing and enjoying the fireplace and the in room jacuzzi tub. Everyone there was very nice and made our stay enjoyable. We were worried because there was a hockey tournament and there were a bunch of tweens around, but we did not hear any noise at all. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely Stay
We just returned from a lovely three night stay at Golden Arrow. Upon arrival we were greeted with a friendly front desk and staff. Our room was spotless, cheerful and well appointed. Our view of the lake was wonderful. Watching people snow shoe, ice skate was a nice view from our balcony. The housekeeping staff was always friendly and helpful. We ate at Generations several times and the food was stellar! One of the best things we ate during our stay in Lake Placid was the salmon pizza at Generations. We cant wait to return…

WOW!!!

My husband and I stayed at the Golden Arrow Resort for our 25th wedding anniversary. It was our first time here, and we were thrilled that we chose to stay here. Upon our arrival, we entered our room and found a complimentary bottle of wine with a gift bag and a beautiful card wishing us a happy 25th. This alone was above and beyond what we would’ve ever expected, but to top it off, they also gave us a free room upgrade!!! Without question, the staff at this resort is absolutely beyond compare.I also need to say our suite was beyond clean and we were Lakeside with a perfect view of the lake and the surrounding mountains. One word of caution. This resort is so big that when you register they give you a map of the hotel in case you got lost. Guess what? We needed it several times! The location of this hotel in the village is ideal. We parked in the parking garage and never used our car again for the rest of our stay. Want to thank Kayleen for her wonderful assistance and generosity. You’re the best! My husband and I are already planning to come back during the summer. There’s so much to do up here but this hotel just makes you feel so welcome, and without question they go above and beyond! The whole family history of ownership of this hotel is showcased on one wall connecting the hotel to their great restaurant called Generations. Great food and atmosphere and I will review it separately. Alright, enough said, just go and see for yourself. It’s perfect here!

Great winter getaway
Stayed for 2 nights in February. Had a first floor room overlooking the lake. It was just wonderful. We were able to snowshoe on the lake right from our room. Breakfast at Generations was excellent. All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay there again.
