Our heated indoor pool at Golden Arrow Lakeside Resort features a sauna, a steam bath, and two whirlpool tubs. It’s been lovingly designed so that kids won’t want to get out of the water and parents will love to lounge here. A favorite among kids and grown ups alike, the pool is a great place to play.
Pets are not allowed in pool area.

We have multiple firepits & chairs along the beach for our guests to enjoy, including our handmade stone firepit. It’s a great place to sit and relax after a long day. Take in the lake and mountain views with a cocktail or make a s’more!
The firepit is lit year round (weather permitting).
Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner stop in for casual dining featuring farm fresh food! Generations serves classic American & North Country Style cuisine with the occasional German outburst.
After a day outdoors, join us for Happy Hour! Specialty drinks made with freshly squeezed juices and home-made infused vodkas are sure to turn a good night into a great one. The best part? It’s connected to the resort, no need to worry about finding a designated driver!
The Lakeview Dining room is ADA accessible from the hotel.
The bar and main dining area are accessible from Main Street.
In summer, our private white sand beach provides an excellent place to relax and enjoy the outdoor Adirondack activities. With a magnificent panorama of the Adirondack Mountains, it’s never been easier. Children will love building sand castles! Mirror Lake does not permit motorized crafts on its waters, so swimmers can safely venture all the way across the lake if they choose. The motor ban also helps keep the waters of Mirror Lake pristine and clean.

These are at a first-come-first-served basis. Simply check one out with our beach staff and return when finished.
In the snowy months, the beach is transformed into a winter wonderland. When the lake is safely frozen, we clear a rink off – so bring your skates for a game of pond hockey or a loop around the lake!
Rooms on the first floor also become ski-in/ski-out lodging for the cross country skiing enthusiast.
Want to experience a thrilling rush right outside our back door? Ride across Mirror Lake with Luna, Patches and the other pups of the Lake Placid Dog Sledding team. The cost for 2022 is $20 per person.
Rides are first-come, first-serve, so not reservations are taken. These rides are run by an independent operator so it is difficult for the Golden Arrow to guarantee when the dog sled rides will be here. Typically they begin whenever the lake freezes (usually around Christmas) and take place Thursday-Sunday from 10am-4pm.
Looking for even more excitement? Head down the lake and take a toboggan chute ride! You’ll travel down ice covered chutes onto frozen Mirror Lake. If the weather is good, sleds can travel over 1,000 feet once they reach the frozen lake surface!
Toboggan rides are $15.00 for Adults and $10.00 for Students.
