- Olympic Jumping Complex: Watch as ski jumpers fly the length of a football field at the complex. There is also a Skyride Gondola here, where you can take in panoramic views of Lake Placid.
- Whiteface Mountain: 13 miles from Lake Placid, you will find Whiteface Mountain, where alpine skiing competitions took place in the 1980 Winter Olympics.Â
